meet Martha Rosenstein
Martha was born and raised in Alaska with a brief hiatus to Washington for college. She has always been interested in medicine and healthcare. She graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in anthropology and returned home to go to nursing school at UAA. Martha worked as a registered nurse for six years in labor and delivery at Providence Hospital, and after a medical mission trip to Burkina Faso, West Africa, she decided that she wanted more autonomy and did something she said she never would ... went to graduate school and received her master's degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati's distance learning program.
In addition to knowledge and experience in preventive care, nutritional counseling for weight loss, general wellness and athletic performance, chronic health conditions, managing autoimmune diseases, and FDM for musculoskeletal pain management, Martha joins Alaska Med Spa & Chiropractic as our medical director to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for helping others feel confident in their own skin!
Outside of her role as medical director, Martha is an endurance athlete (running and triathlon), lover of snow, and mom to two dogs. She also loves food and cooking, naps, knitting, traveling, and reading.
